Jr. Chefs will have fun learning from a professional chef, how to prepare delicious food and understand kitchen safety. Chef Pharrell, who is also a Certified Food Manager, will give your Jr. Chef a restaurant cooking experience in a certified commercial kitchen located in Vista, California
What to expect:
Arrive each day ready for a hands on cooking class where Jr. Chefs will prepare a menu designed to teach basic culinary skills. Menu Preparation, Kitchen Safety, Basic Techniques and Creative Plate presentations. Team work, which is critical in a professional kitchen, is focused on as well as communication, timing, safety and of course, there is always lots of fun. And yes, Jr. Chefs can eat and take home everything they create.
